Around Cua Dai Beach

This beach is 4–5km east-northeast of the Old Town center in a straight line. ④⑤ are right along the beach, and ⑥ is a little inland, along the river.

Between the Old Town and the beach

⑦ is at the foot of Đế Võng Bridge, about 3.5km northeast of the Old Town center, and ⑧ is along Cửa Đại Street on the way from the Old Town to Cua Dai Beach (about 1.4km from the Old Town center).

A seafood restaurant along An Bang Beach. You pick shrimp, crab, fish, or squid from the live tank, and it's weighed on the spot before being cooked. According to the official website, it has been running for over 20 years.

② Phuong's Beach Restaurant

A small open-air eatery along An Bang Beach, serving Vietnamese dishes like spring rolls and wontons alongside seafood. Staff bring food and drinks out to seats on the beach just a few meters away (TripAdvisor's restaurant description).

According to a reply from the restaurant's owner, customers who order food or drinks can use the beach chairs and umbrellas for free, while non-ordering visitors pay (TripAdvisor, June 2026). TripAdvisor's price range is listed as "$."

③ Lucky Beach Restaurant

A restaurant on the coast of the Thịnh Mỹ area, just over 1km southeast of An Bang Beach. Wanderlog describes it as a beachfront restaurant with sea views.

• Shrimp in tamarind sauce
• Fish braised in a clay pot

These dishes are the ones mentioned by name in reviews posted on Wanderlog. It's open from 8am (Wanderlog). We couldn't confirm current prices.

④ Hon Restaurant

A large seafood restaurant standing right on Cua Dai Beach. According to the official website, it was founded in 1995, seats over 300 people, and has ample free parking. There are lounge chairs on the beach, and you can pick seafood from the live tank (Wanderlog).

• Sun-dried squid from Cham Island (Mực một nắng Cù Lao Chàm): the official website's signature dish
• Lobster grilled with garlic butter
• Fried squid
• Clams steamed with lemongrass and chili
• Whole grilled snapper

A travel information site article from January 2020 listed fried squid at 180,000 dong, steamed clams at 100,000 dong, and whole grilled snapper at 200,000 dong (Hidden Hoian). The official website recommends booking by phone and says it can accommodate groups and birthday parties.

⑤ Tan Loc Seafood Restaurant

A family-run seafood restaurant on Cua Dai Beach, whose owner speaks English. Order a dish or a drink and you can use a beach bed and umbrella for the whole day (travel guide site Hoi An Local, 2026 edition).

⑥ Được Seafood Restaurant

A riverside seafood restaurant near Phước Trạch Bridge in Cua Dai, which according to the official website has been running for over 30 years. You choose live seafood from the tank, priced by weight, and have it cooked your preferred way; the river-view hall seats about 100 (official website).

A seafood restaurant at the foot of Đế Võng Bridge on Võ Chí Công Street. It's described as a quiet riverside restaurant (tourism information site quangnamtourism, January 2026), with seating over a pond (Wanderlog).

⑧ Quán Ốc Ken

A shellfish (ốc) restaurant along Cửa Đại Street on the way from the Old Town to Cua Dai Beach. The dining room is spacious and airy, and you order dish by dish by combining a type of shellfish with a cooking method (an article on the Hoi An Memories Land site, June 2024).
